If you have heard the owls at night for the last few months, you are not alone. They are Barred owls and have been        photographed by Dave Porada along with other large birds in North Point. Dave describes the first picture as an            adult and it is the one making the longer calls. The second picture is a juvenile, probably last year's. The third                picture is an eagle. The fourth picture is the eagle being harassed by a Coopers hawk. All the pictures were taken          behind his condo. Thanks Dave for the pictures and descriptions.

Winter Reminder

With the cold weather returning, residents are reminded to take precautions when they are not in residence. These precautions

should be made if you will be gone for days, weeks, or months. Do not turn your heat off. Turning your heat down to 55 degrees will save money and provide sufficient heat to protect your condo. Having no heat in your condo could cause cracks in your walls. Also during times of extreme cold, your water lines could freeze and burst. Next, turn your water supply off at the main valve and open two valves in your condo. You don’t want a pipe to burst while you are gone flooding your condo while you are gone. Thank you.
